But resurrection consequence.
When life gets measured in colours
I start to wonder
What shade would
melancholy come in?
Crimson, majestic downfall
Tawny, vanishing wall
Fading, dying fall
Answering the call (of resurgence)
A chestnut drops from up high
And opens its shell
Lays open its heart
Unveiling its dream of resurrection
Is it the rise of autumn

Abundance of nutriment lies in the past
only the strongest will survive the frost.
Antlers are scattered around
directing the path towards supper
In anticipation of the chaser
the herd's trembling
The hunters accelerate their pace
The eternal cycle has started again
with no avail and no end
hastening in on their inevitable catch
smelling the fear of finitude
The primal instinct of fright
overcasts the voice of reasoning
the majestic appearance falls
like a curtain for nature's stage
An inner instinct calls for reassurance
As the shape of the soil
unfolds its philosophy

a crystallized protective thick cover
is nature taking its course
to purify for spring
Some have seen many summers
have proudly withstood hardship
but the unfailing strength of youth
is but countable
The harshness of frosty nights
meets sombreness of day and soul
joyfulness sleeps deep below
a distant warm thought in fading memories

The atmosphere of this album is fantastic. Makes you feel like you're knee-deep in the trenches drenched in mud, filth, sweat, and blood. Truly encapsulates the horrors of World War I, and the fact that the lyrics of some of the songs are taken from old war letters really adds to the authenticity. This album rocks! Has a great atmosphere. I really enjoy this type of BM that is more meditative, with excellent riffs. Love the sound of the guitar and drums. That snare drum hit is perfect. I am looking forward to future releases. Might be my new fav band!
